Embracing Phoenix...Crafeteria

A friend and I were caught at Craferteria on December 7th in Phoenix by an azcentral.com photographer. This craft fair had tons of handmade and local goodies just in time for holiday shopping, as well as a delicious hot dog food truck.

Embracing Phoenix...Hotel Palomar at CityScape

Check out the Palomar Hotel at CityScape this holiday season. This posh new downtown Phoenix hotel, in the heart of shopping, entertainment, and nightlife, has received top ranking on TripAdvisor. Enjoy the amazing decor and atmosphere while mingling with other guests at the hotel's hosted wine hour. The in house restaurant and bar, Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktail, is great for a contemporary, casual, downtown bite. Try this self-proclaimed "American gastro-lounge" for a seasonally inspired lunch and handcrafted cocktail. Whether it be for a stay-cation, a happy hour, or a holiday visit, the Hotel Palomar at CityScape is a Phoenix must see.

Embracing Phoenix

Phoenix isn't a place where I've ever felt at home. I moved here from Chicago when I was in 4th grade, and never quite felt like I belonged here. After spending 5 years up in Flagstaff, and falling in love with Northern Arizona, I find myself back in Phoenix. I've realized that, while Phoenix isn't a natural fit for me and eventually I will depart, there are many wonderful things to be explored here and it is a constant reminder to me to embrace Phoenix...for now.

Hi there

Hi there,

I've created this blog because I start a lot of projects that I don't finish. I wanted something to provide me the motivation and accountability to put the ideas I have into action. There are a lot of things that I love and enjoy that inspire me, and too often I lose sight of them on a day to day basis. All the things I want to do become a great idea for a time I'm not so busy, which is never. I often reconnect with the things that inspire me through other people's blogs and sites, and I feel like it's time to incorporate that passion back into my life.

However... I started creating this blog about 6 months ago, and have yet to post a thing. I got swept in other things and, like most projects I start, this idea fell to the wayside. This is my second attempt at creating a space to share the things I love, reflect on the things that bring joy, motivate me to pursue the things that inspire me, and keep track of my Everyday Projects.
